Message from President TAOMS

Welcome Message
from President of TAOMS
Dear Colleagues
Greetings!
With great honor and pleasure, I’m privileged to welcome all delegates abroad and domestic to the 30th Annual Academic Congress of Taiwanese Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons be held on March 10~11,2018 at the magnificent International Convention Center of Kaohsiung Medical University.
As you all known, English has been the official language of Taiwanese Congress on Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery back in 2013, which was quite a dramatic progress and formulated an attraction to lure more and more participants from countries nearby. In this particular congress, we’re expecting distinguished scholars, colleagues, friends and brothers from Afghanistan, China, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and the hosting nation Taiwan, almost reaching the scale of a mini-ACOMS. Regarding the main theme of this conference “Rejuvenation”, it is not only applicable to several topics and sessions of our routine scientific programs delivered by renowned international speakers but also for the 1st time we’ve organized the Youth Forum indicating a new policy of promotion and encouragement of our young promising members to be on the stage and share their refreshing ideas with all of us. Let’s just enjoy the fantastic lectures by young surgeons from JSOMS, KAOMS, PCOMS and TAOMS. At the end, please don’t hesitate to give them a big round applause.
To all members of the hardworking scientific and organizing committee, I would like to express the deepest gratitude, in particular Prof. Elliot S. CHENG .
To our generous sponsors and on-site exhibitors of this conference, your time and contributions are extremely appreciated.
To all registered foreign and domestic delegates, I’m sure you’ll be able to feel the enthusiasm of the hosting Kaohsiung Medical University, especially from the team led by congress chair Prof. Edward C. KO and will also remember the heartwarming atmosphere of Southern Taiwan. So, thank you very much for the timeless support to Taiwanese Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
Last but not the least, wishing each and every one of you a fruitful journey with unforgettable joyfulness during the entire well organized academic and social events.

Michael Yuanchien CHEN, President of TAOMS
